At Definedge, our commitment to security is reflected in our consistent adoption of the latest security methods to guarantee safety every time you use our trading platforms. To enhance security, we have implemented a two-factor authentication protocol for login.
Every time you attempt to access your Definedge Securities Demat Account or any of our trading terminals through a browser, you are prompted to input an OTP (sent to your registered number) or Zone Mobile App code to facilitate a secure login. This ensures that your account can only be accessed by you and protects your personal information from unauthorized access.
App code provides an accessible additional security layer to your account by adding a unique authentication step every time you log in. It shields your account from malicious entities. Unlike OTP SMS which is often delayed due to network issues, app codes can be immediately generated on your Zone Mobile app, ensuring a smooth login process.
How to generate your App code?
Step 1 –
To generate your App Code, log in to your Zone Mobile App.
To do that, use the UCC and password on your Definedge Securities Demat Account.
Step 2 –
Once logged in, click on the Hamburger icon in the top-left corner to open a side menu.
Step 3 –
Once the Side Menu opens, click on the App Code option to receive it.
Step 4 –
Once selected, an App Code will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can use this code to log in to our trading terminals anywhere.
Note that, the app code is only valid for 60 seconds and will have to be regenerated once that time frame ends.
You can regenerate the app code as many times as you require.
