Query on Lookback Period on Noiseless Charts

I understand that the Lookback period in OHLC is the previous day / bar

But what is that with other noiseless charts like Point and Figure / Renko etc -> does it represents the previous day or as of previous column / previous brick

For P&F and Renko Lookback period represents as a previous column / previous brick
