Feature Request: "Select All" or Multi-Select for Option Strikes in the 'Add Scrip' Window
-
Hi Definedge Team,
I am writing to request a workflow enhancement for the "Add Scrip" window in TradePoint, specifically when building watchlists for options strategies like Straddles or Spreads.
The Current Bottleneck:
When preparing for an upcoming weekly expiry, I often need to track multiple straddles across a wide range of strike prices (e.g., for Nifty). Currently, the "Strike Price" dropdown only allows selecting one strike at a time. Adding an entire chain of 10-15 straddles manually, one by one, is quite tedious and time-consuming.
The Feature Request:
It would be incredibly helpful if you could add one of the following capabilities to this window:A "Select All" checkbox: To instantly add all available strikes for the selected expiry.
Multi-select capability: Allowing users to hold 'Ctrl' or 'Shift' to highlight multiple strikes in the dropdown menu at once.
Strike Range Input: An option to add a range (e.g., +/- 5 strikes from ATM) in a single click.
The Benefit:
For options traders who actively monitor premiums across multiple strikes, this small change would drastically speed up watchlist creation and improve the overall user experience.Thank you for considering this enhancement!
