Inconsistent “From Date” Validation between Momentum trading and Momentum Investing for Nifty Total Market group

Hi Team,

I noticed an inconsistency in the platform and wanted to get clarity.

When using Momentum Investing with the Nifty Total Market group, the tool shows an error saying the group was introduced on 13/10/2021 and forces the ‘From’ date to be on or after this date (screenshot attached).

However, Momentum Investing allows backtesting on the same Nifty Total Market group even for dates prior to 13/10/2021, without any restriction or error

What's reason for this discrepancy?

I have also highlighted a few discrepancies to the team via email. In my view, the tools provided are already sufficient; rather than adding more features, it would be more beneficial to ensure the existing ones function accurately.

Lately, switching between different tabs on the Definedge platform has become noticeably slow. Pages often don’t refresh automatically, and pressing F5 manually has almost become a routine. This issue wasn’t present until last month.
