1. Is the SL taken from the purchase price of the stock or from the last rebalance date price
2. Does it mean that any stock that is part of the portfolio that goes down by 7% below the purchase price will get exited the moment it happens or will it get exited only on the next rebalance date

I am really liking what I see in Momentify.

I do long/short strategies. I think reverse momentum is a good way to look at short candidates. By reverse momentum, I mean the weak stocks - eg. stocks not more than 30% from their 52 week low, below 200 EMA etc etc. Basically, to begin with one can just backtest with the reverse logic of long momentum strategy.
