    @Prashant-Shah
    Dear Sir,
    I wanted to ask if the concepts and strategies shared in your book will be covered in your upcoming Pune event? As a beginner, I’ve recently enrolled in your Gurukul platform—specifically the "Trading with Renko" module—and I’m very eager to learn under your guidance. Your insights mean a lot to me, and I’m hoping this event will help strengthen my foundation further. Looking forward to your reply.

    Warm regards,
    Umang Gohil.

    Dear Prashant, After watching your momentum videos last year, I started practicing with 20 stock portfolio and was out of the position in September end once GS composite index started out performing Nifty. I have not re entered yet. Meanwhile I attended NL Fundo-Techno Strategies and Momentum investing sessions you and team conducted last month. I was in two minds whether I should buy this book or I had enough information to practice what I learned. Once I started reading this Book all my doubts withered away, such a well written book, it keeps you curious and most importantly nudges you to explore on your own. My favourite section is 'you' and 'me' discussion. Thank you for this wonderful and very thoughtfully written book.

Today, I am trying to scan the Nifty 500 group of companies, but the scanner is showing only 210 stocks being scanned. When I am scanning the Nifty 100 group, only 49 stocks are being scanned.

    @Prashant-Shah Hello Sir, I was trying to deploy a strategy on Momentify but encountered an issue. I set the total allocation to ₹5,00,000 and enabled the SIP amount at ₹20,000. However, upon saving the strategy, the allocation shows 1, and the SIP remains ₹20,000. When I disable the SIP, it correctly reflects the total allocation. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

    Momentify is a wonderful platform, thank you for developing this.
    I have done mutiple simulations to test and learn about Investing Strategy.
    Need your help to reduce the losses.
    Here's what I am doing :
    MIP30 252 period only , within 50% retracement, EMA of 200 and 100 both .. also using Market trend filter with Nifty500 and EMA 20 and rest is all default.

    For simulation, I am doing SIP of 1 lac, start date 1Jan222 till 28Apr25 and 10 stocks with exit Rank20.

    1. As per the exported data, I am making a CAGR of 123.15%, but if system could have avoided trading after 1st Oct , this would have been much higher.
      Till 01Oct2024 the Total PL is Rs. 3,136,202.. but till 28Apr2025 it is left with Total PL @ Rs. 1340401. = CACR 123.15%

    2. Out of 98 total traded 26 of them are less than 30-34 days and all are having -ve returns. except 5 days out of 26 which are positive. Net Loss of 1,61,306 (removed last 28days of Apr trades as they did not complete 1 full month)

    3. Since the rebalancing is happening only on 1st (as per simulation) it is skipping stocks with are below 20EMA during rebalancing period.. example Mazdocks.
      If we could somehow exit and re-enter a stock within 1 month (even within rebalancing period) when it goes above 20EMA (example) on a later date , we could have ridden the full momentum of this stock or similar.

    Please make some provision to re-enter a stock which was exited in last 1-2 months due to Market Trend filter either a daily monitor/flag/pop-up.. to allow mannual entry. This would help catch the full momentum of a stock. which somehow got kicked out only because, on the date of rebalancing (or around that period), it went out of scope.

    I just saw that there's an option "Add to portfolio" .. but this allows only 1 scrip addition. After 1 scrip is added, the option to add to portfolio disappears. Request you to please allow more additions. This will help in adding stocks which got missed out because on rebalance date, it was below 20EMA(example).. and then 2-3 days later those stocks again continued the momentum.
    Also please allow to Sell stocks from the monthly list, to rebalance the allocated funds, or to remove some list before they continue to add losses to the overall portfolio the entire month.

    @Prashant-Shah Sir, 1 probable bug :
    Inside the Positions help, from the list of stock, when I click edit and Add ä "minus quantity", then the Scrip qty is reducing to 1.
    Example : PGEL initial position shows 11 qty.. but when I edit and add -5 (minus 5), the new qty comes down to 1 qty. Even if I edit and add -11 (actual full qty), it still comes down to 1.

    For the last 1 year I'm not getting any strategy which beat NIFTY CAGR or 7.5%. Is this correct?
    I have tried Nifty 500, 252, 50% retracement, Market Trend Filter, Ranking by Return %, Entry Above D Smart, both with RS (N500 Above D Smart) and without RS.
    I also Tried on NIFTY TOTAL MARKET, Nifty 100 etc.
    Please guide.

    sir in many momentum studies including hagdish and titman last 20 days return shoudnt be included in returns calculation as 20 day momentum is mostly mean reversion kind of thing. theres no option to discard the last 20 days returns. please look into that

Its taking me a very long time to backtest 3 years on 4-5 indices adding a parameter each time like 100EMA, RS, Entry Condition etc. A ready report will immensely help my deployment

    If I start with say 10L pf in momentify and later decide to add more money to a running pf, how to do it? This can be either due to market environment or excess cash available for investing.
    Also reverse, if I want to take out some money from pf but wants it to continue with a lower corpus?

    @CHAITANYA JOSHI 1. You will have to accept some drawdown. You can’t save an investment portfolio from market corrections beyond a certain point. Outperformance over a 3- 5 years should be the goal. Try removing 100 EMA and replacing 20-EMA filter with 10-EMA. It’ll come at a cost.
    2. That’s fine. Try 30% stop-loss.
    3. That’s become more of a trading portfolio. You can explore trading section in Momentify. Trading section with new features will be released by coming Friday.
    You can add stocks manually in Momentify portfolio.
