    Help Required for Scanner
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Dear Team
I want to create Renko Scanner with condition that

    1. Price Crossing above Ichimocu RED cloud (Span B)
      OR
    2. Latest brick is above Ichimocu RED cloud and earlier bricks below Span B or in the cloud.

From Snap it will be clear to you. With available parameter I am not able to make this scanner. Please suggest..

    Thanks//Mahesh (9689897614)

  • Definedge - Bullish and bearish Momentum sectors groups can be made in Zone (same as stock)
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Hi Team/ Prashantji
Hi, Definedge team is really doing good in terms of improvements in all product. Many Congratulations for the same !!

But with this we got more and more idea's which can make our life easy. Please consider below 2 enhancements

    1. Add EQW in Rzone drop down list (when we can select NSE, OPT etc) - To quickly view definedge and NSE sectors with back and forwards arrow (at present we need to type). Sometimes manual checking is good. We can make templates as as we wish and check all indices/sectors ...
    2. Like we have definedge bullish and bearish momentum stock list group --> if you can apply same logic to NSE sectors and definedge sectors and make two dynamic groups.

    Thanks
    Mahesh

  • EQW required in dropdown list in Zone for faster checking of all definedge sectors
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Hi
Please provide EQW in dropdown list in Zone. Refer the attached snap.
It will be very good if all definedge (and also Nifty sectors) can be quickly seen in zone chart with forward and backward arrow.

  • "Daily Realtime" scanning in scanners
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

Hi Definedge Team / Prashshat Ji
It's really nice to see lot of improvements coming in the Treadpoint , Rzone and other products and most of the good suggestions are being considered from the users.
I have recently seen many new scanners, specifically speaking the Option scanners which calculates the ATM on its own ! This has saved our lot of manual work which was suppose to be done frequently as ATM changes dynamically.
I have noticed we do not have the scanning frequency option of "Daily RT" i.e daily realtime. I usually consider making positional entry based on Renko daily price moves above donchain channel. Is there any limitation of adding daily RT. I can understand with daily level timeframe pattern will get locked after day end, however it is still important to have daily RT in the scanning list. We can do entry based on that.
Can you please consider adding the same. (This timeframe is missing in most of the scanners like option, staddle, ultra scanners etc)

  • Suggestions for Opstra
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Thank you ...
Opstra is market leader platform for option trading and I am sure it will get better and better at every update.
Thank you for considering other suggestion. I believe when it comes to option trading, one needs to be very fast so please consider the improvements from the same aspect.

  • Zone - Script Name in Zone TAB
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Hi Team
Usually many of us use multiple charts in zone. I open around 8-10 charts in zone.

Each Zone TAB only has zone symbol in TAB button. So when 8-10 charts are open in 8-10 TABs it makes very difficult to remember which TAB has which script and usually due to this I end up opening 3-4 wrong tabs before I get the desired TAB.

In trading view each TAB shows script name so it make easy to open that TAB. In multi-chart template it shows the selected chart script on the TAB.

  • Opsta - Current expiry/future expiry is not available (?)
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Many Thanks 👍
This would really help. Appreciate if this can be done on priority.

  • Suggestions for Opstra
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

I have few suggestions for opstra. Opstra is currently the only feature rich tool available for option traders. I think below things will make it more helpful and user friendly ... Pls do consider all suggestions

    Liquidity

    1. Please show the liquidity, it is very very important to see liquidity (OI) for selecting strikes in Option chain of builder and simulator. Checking liquidity is very critical while building any strategy or simulating any strategy. I have to go on NSE page for doing this while selecting any strike for building any strategy. This consumes time...
2)While simulator is also it is very much required. There is no way to check liquidity when simulating anything ..

In stockmock simulator and builder this is available.

Other small improvements (Check stockmock or DHAN)
1)Add distance of any strike from ATM (+50/+100/+200 and -50/-100/-200 etc). This will make faster strike selection. (just add it in bracket near strike value).
    2) One strikes are selected and we are viewing payoff, there should be quick + and - buttons to change strike for faster changes, there should be buttons for changing PE/CE and Buy sell.
    3) In simulator --> If I book any strike, the exit price of that point should be automatically updated. There should not be any need of manually putting it. (I understand in live market this is not possible but in simulator it is)

I believe faster building and executing strategy is very critical. So above this will help.

  • Opsta - Current expiry/future expiry is not available (?)
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Hi
This is one of the major drawback of opstra. In opsta expiry data is available only for past expiry (already expired) and not for future. I would like to explain you with example..

    Todays date - 17th Oct
If i have to simulate any strategy for current or future expiry for example , Let say for example i want to simulate DEC23 or MAR24 expiry strategy in month of october - I am not able to do it. Even if I want to simulate any strategy in NOV23 or OCT23 expiry I am not able to do it.
I dont think this is not possible. This is available in stockmoc.
It is really critical for any trader to see what would have happen with his strategy if he would have taken tread recently may be 1 day before OR 1 week before of 1 Month before in any future expiry which is still active.

This is very much possible as you would have this data available on daily basis and can update it.

  • Filter requirement in scanner results
  • M Mahesh Wankhede

    Hi
We have many scanner available in Rzone. While shortlisting any stock candidate from the scanner results it is sometimes become critical to have few more details of any stock.

This is more to do with someone investment style for example I only invest in Nifty 500 stocks but if I have multiple option i would definitely chose a midcap stock over smallcap. If you can give flites like Nifty50/Nifty100/Midcap 50/100, Smallcap etc it would certainly help. You can also give Marketcap column along with LCP. This will be more useful if I have multiple option. Currently i have to do vlookup in excel each time I run any scanner and then manually enter the stock name to see chart.
