Request for Training and Clarification on R Zone Scanner Modes
  • S Shantanu Kale

Having recently joined Define Edge, I have been exploring the R Zone platform and have found it to be a powerful tool. However, I have encountered some challenges in fully understanding the practical applications of the Top Down Mode and Multidenominator Mode within the RS Scanner segment. I have watched the video titled "A method of picking winning stocks | Prashant Shah | Mangesh Joglekar Definedge" on YouTube, which has shed some light on the logic behind the Top Down Mode, where sectors are chosen and divided by denominators. However, I still have some questions and would greatly appreciate your guidance in clarifying the differences between these two modes and their specific practical applications.

From what I have gathered, both modes seem to screen out similar sectors with slight variations in values. In the Top Down Mode, sectors chosen are divided by Denominator 1 and then Denominator 1 is divided by Denominator 2. In the Multidenominator Mode, sectors chosen by the user are divided separately by Denominator 1 and Denominator 2. Could you please provide more insights into the exact differences between these two modes in terms of their practical utility and how they can be effectively utilized for stock analysis and selection?

Furthermore, as a user of R Zone, I have found that while your screeners are excellent, there is a need for more comprehensive training materials and resources. I have been unable to find videos or documentation that explain the practical applications of the screeners in detail. It would be immensely helpful if you could provide guidance on how to use the screeners effectively, possibly through video tutorials, user guides, or webinars.

I believe that with proper training and a deeper understanding of the R Zone platform and its screeners, I can harness its full potential and make informed investment decisions. I am eager to learn and maximize the benefits of Define Edge's tools, and I believe that enhanced educational resources will not only benefit me but also other users who may share similar challenges.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and any assistance you can provide in improving my experience with R Zone

    Dear Mr. Prashant Shah,

I am a subscriber of Define Edge Securities, and I have been following your Market Q&A Live Sessions every Friday night on YouTube with great interest. I appreciate the valuable insights you provide during these sessions, which have been instrumental in helping me navigate the world of trading and investments.

I wanted to take a moment to share a suggestion that I believe could enhance the educational value of your show even further. As a new entrant to the trading world, I often find myself overwhelmed by the various options available in the R Zone scanner provided by Define Edge Securities. The range of scanners, including Breadth, Seasonality, Matrix Price and relative strength, table, price scanner, Relative strength scanner, multi-time frame scanner, P&F SMART scanner, Smart scanner, indicator digger, volume scanner, and reports, is extensive and, at times, confusing.

I believe that dedicating one hour of your Market Q&A Live Session to each type of scanner with examples in the R Zone could be immensely beneficial. This would allow you to delve deep into the specifics of each scanner, explain its purpose, and provide practical guidance on how to interpret the scanning results effectively. It would provide subscribers like me with a structured and comprehensive understanding of the tools at our disposal.

This approach would not only demystify the R Zone scanner for newcomers but also serve as a valuable refresher for experienced traders. It aligns with your commitment to empowering your subscribers with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed investment decisions.

I hope you consider this suggestion and continue to enrich the educational content you provide through your Market Q&A Live Sessions. Your dedication to helping your subscribers is truly appreciated, and I look forward to learning more from your sessions.

Thank you for your time and continued support

  • identifying potential investment opportunities

A stock screener is a tool or software that helps investors filter and narrow down a list of stocks based on specific criteria and parameters. Accordingly R-Zone is a wonderful stock screener provided by Define Edge. It screens stocks based on Noiseless charts and its patterns. One of the screener in the R zone is Matrix-Price and RS. In this Matrix-Price and RS scanner there is one subtype of scanner called P & F matrix. After going through Mr. Prashant Shah's You Tube VDO called Price Matrix: Stocks select करनेका एक अनोखा तरीका | Definedge Research | Prashant Shah, I have understood the entire conceptual design of P & F matrix. P& F matrix exactly helps me to find out which stocks in particular segment is showing maximum performance score which is 8. I get double bottom sales levels in those stocks which is also calculated by scanner. But when I go through chart of those script, I find out scripts has appreciably run high. identifying potential investment opportunities in those stocks are already missed out. How to solve this issue?
