Futility of using two softwares "Rzone" and "Trade point desktop"
-
Hi
I am avid user of Rzone and opstra . i find it quite efficient to use and get stock recommendations thrown by various scanners ( custom or public). I also use the methods suggested by Brajesh Bhatia sir, AP sir and Raju sir.
however, one feedback I would like to give here is the sheer wastage of frequent navigation from "almost similar" R zone and Tradepoint desktop only because definedge has choosen to continue with its old flagship software which supplying the same software in slightly new avatar and charging money for both.sir, it is my humble suggestion that
- Integration of Tradepoint and Rzone: Let there be only one software doing similar things. At present lot of Duplicated actions are there in the name of "server based" and "individual Node locked-local computer" based. This integration will save us from doing additional activity ( almost plotting same thing in two platforms, navigating here and there) while trade is in progress. Definedge can charge appropriately for this as price is never an issue for good software. consolidating this into one robust unit will make our life easier.
- Checkbox in Opstra- Opstra is very good platform dedicated to options trading. here in strategy payoff graph a toggle should be provided to study various scenarios in case we enter/ or do not enter the position. in this regard, I find "option oracle by santosh pasi " platform quite interesting, wherein a checkbox is provided infront of every position. Definedge has also tried to do this but many time these boxes are either off or cannot be ticked off/ on as per will.
please look into above, if possible.

I completely agree with you, was also thinking about the same. Two platform doing the same thing along with the added cost. There have been instances of data mismatch also. There should be one version cloud based version which can be accessed similarly on desktop or web. Definedge should take the noiseless approach, as a paid user of Rzone, I hope the team listens to the feedback which I am confident they will.

We have taken note of your suggestion regarding RZone and Tradepoint Desktop and forwarded it to the concerned team. As for your suggestion regarding Opstra, we would request you to please share your mobile number via DM in order to assist you better.

Yes plus there are some features which are there on Tradepoint but not in Rzone like Total Open Interest, which is available in Tradepoint and Opstra, but not in Rzone/Zoneweb. But Prashant ji has mentioned that they will bring in the TOI in Zone too.
Plus I saw in Coming Soon tab of Product Updates that Definedge has partnered with Tradingview. I don't know by when this partnership will be effective and to what extent, but this seems exciting to me.

Yes, totally agree with the suggestion that TOI feature plus any other such features which are unique to Tradepoint be made available in RZone as persons like me who are employed in full time job are not allowed to download trade point desktop on company's LAPTOP So we can use only RZone or Webzone or mobile Zone App. Cost is not a problem

We do have plans to add TOI on RZone, but it is difficult to give a timeline. Meanwhile, you can use TOI on Opstra which is a web based platform.

The problem with using TOI on OPSTRA is that it gives only line chart and I have become more comfortable with RENKO Chart TOI ON 1 minute timeframe 0.50% box size using DSMART/SMART DON set up recommanded by Raju Sir on market kya lagta hai. It would be nice if you could include the same feature in R Zone

As mentioned earlier, our team is actively working it.
