i have spent some time on this feature and I have found it very useful especially for realigning your long term portfolio.. Its something like "follow the leaders". I have studied each sector (less than 25 stocks )including define edge sectors and have come across some interesting observations of stocks within a sector .. Eye openers if you may . For eg, while analyzing the FMCG sector , naturally stocks which are "solid" like Brittania , HUL, ITC come to mind and we stay invested for long . Bur in last 10 years Actually VBL gave more value ... it still is the leader, Then it goes that one should perhaps book profits in these blue chips and realign by adding VBL. Eventually we should have 3 to 4 of these top stocks and keep tracking say every three months . Maybe a new entrant comes in the realign accordinglyFMCG.png VBL case study.png vbl price.png .for eg i tried to compare VBL with others as mentioned above.
I am sharing some other sectors images ....with the same logic

Another example is IT .. Is it time to realign and include/add on to persistent /coforge and exit/pare holdings in TCS , INFY????
Is this the right track?? or is it too simplistic

@Shireesh-Joshi Can you please share in which Month - Year, VBL was made part of NIFTY FMCG Index?

Paradoxically, trading gets much (much!) easier when you don't need the money.
